Job summary

San Miguel Global Power is seeking a Licensed Mechanical Engineer to provide technical expertise and inspection programs for our power plant in Masinloc, Zambales. The role includes supporting equipment issue assessments and implementing sustainable maintenance processes to ensure equipment meets its full design duty.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of maintenance experience in power or heavy industry, strong CMMS/SAP skills, and solid technical writing and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• 2–3 years applicable maintenance experience in power or heavy industry setting.
• Ability to read and understand plant technical documents including operations and maintenance manuals, technical drawings, schematics, logic diagrams, and safety materials.
• Understanding of power plant operations.
• Well-versed with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Software - SAP ERP or other related computer-based programs to comply with the work execution and reportorial requirements of the department.
• Working knowledge and understanding of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex issues and problems.
• Proficient in technical writing for internal and external reporting
• Possess confidence in decision-making, negotiation skills, leadership, capabilities, and solid oral and written communication skills.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Bani, Masinloc, and Zambales.

Responsibilities

• Implement new sustainable maintenance work processes to keep operating equipment in a condition and to deliver its full design duty.
