Crown Regency Hotels & Resorts in Cebu City is seeking a Boiler Operator to ensure a safe, reliable steam and hot water supply for hotel operations. You will operate boilers, burners, pumps, valves, and gauges, and monitor all related equipment.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or vocational training, a valid boiler operator license, and the ability to perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in a hot industrial setting.
The Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of boilers and related equipment. The position ensures that boiler systems operate within required parameters, comply with safety standards, and provide a reliable supply of steam or hot water for facility operations.
Operate and monitor boilers, burners, pumps, valves, gauges, and related equipment
Start up, operate, and shut down boiler systems according to established procedures
Monitor temperature, pressure, water levels, fuel consumption, and other operating parameters
Maintain proper boiler pressure and water levels during operation
Adjust controls and operating conditions to ensure efficient boiler performance
Conduct regular rounds and inspections of boiler rooms and equipment
Record operating readings and maintain accurate boiler logbooks
Perform routine inspection and basic preventive maintenance of boilers and associated equipment
Identify abnormal conditions, leaks, unusual sounds, pressure changes, or equipment malfunctions
Ensure boiler rooms and equipment areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards
High school diploma, vocational/technical course, or equivalent qualification
Valid Boiler Operator Certificate/License or applicable certification required by local regulations
Knowledge of boiler operation, steam systems, pumps, valves, burners, and water treatment
Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Physically fit and capable of working in a hot and industrial environment
Good attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to maintain accurate records and follow operating procedures
Experience working as a Boiler Operator in hotels, resorts, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, industrial plants, or large-scale facilities is an advantage
