Axelum Resources Corp. in the Philippines is seeking a Boiler Engineer to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the plant’s boiler and utility systems.
You will provide technical support for boiler operations, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, energy efficiency initiatives, and engineering projects to sustain uninterrupted plant productivity. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering; PRC licensure is preferred;
The Boiler Engineer is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of the plant’s boiler and utility systems. The role provides technical support in boiler operations, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and engineering projects to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations.
The Boiler Engineer will support:
Boiler and auxiliary equipment operation, maintenance, and reliability
Troubleshooting and improvement of boiler systems and mechanical equipment
Preventive and corrective maintenance activities for boiler and utility systems
Energy efficiency and fuel optimization initiatives
Plant engineering projects, equipment modification, and improvement activities
Compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and boiler operating requirements
Monitor and provide technical support for the operation and maintenance of boiler systems and auxiliary equipment
Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, testing, and evaluation of boiler equipment and related mechanical systems
Develop and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability
Identify equipment issues and recommend appropriate corrective and improvement measures
Monitor boiler performance, efficiency, fuel consumption, and operating parameters
Support energy conservation and utility optimization initiatives
Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, engineering documentation, and recommendations
Review engineering drawings, equipment specifications, and technical requirements
Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, suppliers, and other internal departments for boiler-related activities
Ensure compliance with company safety standards, operating procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
Assist in the implementation, commissioning, testing, and turnover of boiler and engineering projects
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance boiler reliability, operational efficiency, and plant productivity
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
PRC Licensed Mechanical Engineer is preferred
Experience in boiler operation, maintenance, utilities, or manufacturing is an advantage
Knowledge of boiler systems, steam generation, mechanical equipment, and utility systems
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and boiler-related equipment
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD or engineering software is an advantage
Knowledge of applicable safety and regulatory requirements for boiler operations is an advantage.
