Job summary

Cavite Biofuel Producers Inc. is seeking a seasoned Boiler Operations Supervisor to oversee daily steam boiler operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient performance at our Cavite plant.

You will lead a team of boiler operators, monitor critical parameters, conduct inspections, coordinate with maintenance, and train new staff to uphold OSHA and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer with boiler operations expertise.
• Minimum 3 years in boiler operations; at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of boiler systems, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with DCS/PLC control systems in boiler operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and boiler management software.
• Understanding of steam generation principles and related mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

1.Supervise Boiler Operations: Oversee the daily operation of steam boilers, ensuring all

processes comply with operational standards, safety procedures, and

environmental regulations.

2.Team Leadership: Manage and supervise a team of boiler operators and support staff

during the assigned shift. Provide guidance, training, and performance

feedback.

3.Operational Monitoring: Monitor boiler parameters (pressure, temperature, water levels,

fuel usage) to ensure safe and efficient operation. Respond to alarms or system

irregularities and initiate corrective actions.

4.Routine Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of boilers and auxiliary equipment,

such as feed pumps, burners, fans, and control systems. Identify potential

issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs.

5.Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with OSHA regulations,

environmental standards, and the company's health and safety policies. Conduct

regular safety drills and ensure all staff adhere to safety protocols.

6.Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Diagnose operational issues and initiate corrective

measures to resolve problems promptly, minimizing production impact.

7. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of boiler operations, incidents,

maintenance activities, and shift performance. Prepare daily shift reports and

submit them to the Boiler Operations Manager.

8.Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure continuous steam supply and optimal plant performance. Communicate

effectively with the incoming shift supervisor to ensure a seamless handover.

9.Training & Development: Mentor and train new boiler operators, ensuring they are

familiar with operational procedures, safety standards, and emergency response

protocols.

Job Requirements
