Job summary

Egis is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Architectural Transportation specialist to join our growing Bengaluru team. You will develop, manage, and coordinate Building Information Models for transportation infrastructure projects, collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery using advanced BIM methodologies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or equivalent modeling platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling techniques.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in BIM, architectural design, or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of transportation design standards and infrastructure requirements.
• Experience with clash detection and coordination tools (Navisworks or similar).
• Excellent technical documentation and drawing preparation skills.
• Strong collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for transportation projects using industry-standard software.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and MEP specialists for model accuracy.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between architectural, structural, and systems components.
• Create detailed technical documentation, drawings, and specifications from BIM models.
• Analyze transportation design requirements and translate them into accurate 3D models and visuals.
• Manage BIM standards, workflows, and QA procedures across projects.
• Prepare construction documentation and coordinate with contractors on site.
