Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking a BIM Specialist to implement BIM standards and workflows across projects. You will report to the BIM Manager and ensure model validation, clash detection, and library maintenance using Revit MEPF and Navisworks.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, deep BIM experience from LOD 200 to LOD 500, familiarity with ACC/BIM360, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• High level experience in using Revit MEPF and Navisworks.
• Extensive BIM experience from LOD 200 up to LOD 500.
• Familiar with RIBA stages (plan of work) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience working in ACC/BIM360.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to BIM Manager as required.
• Implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for the project.
• Oversee the model validation and quality control process.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate the resolution of design issues from the model.
• Prepare the QC checklist and assure the quality deliverables.
• Verify if all exported data from the model are complete and accurate.
• Configure models for all disciplines to ensure that the correct coordinate system is used, and models are matched.
• Assist BIM team in modeling and in tight deadlines/schedules.
• Produce Revit families – 3D model, 2D symbols, and parameters according to project requirements.
• Contribute to and maintain BIM standards and library of BIM objects.
• Support teams in troubleshooting technical issues and resolving clashes.
• Review the updates from other design teams and report complicated issues to the BIM manager and design engineers.
• Attend weekly project meeting.
