Job summary

VIATechnik is seeking a BIM Modeler in the Philippines to convert drawings to Revit 3D models and produce coordination drawings. You will ensure models are constructible for field use, run clash checks, and prepare RFIs for project managers.

The role requires reading plans across Civil, Structure, Architecture, and MEPF, and a background in Navisworks is a plus. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of BIM modeling experience and can start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (ME/EE/Sanitary/related)
• Proficient in BIM software (Revit)
• 2+ years BIM Modeler experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to execute against the proper VIATechnik playbook and follow requirements laid out on the BIM checklist
• Convert drawings to Revit 3D models
• Create models that are physically constructible in the field
• Perform clash coordination
• Produce coordination drawings
• Convert Pointcloud scan to 3D models
• Prepare RFIs for project managers
• Review drawings, specifications, instructions, and other requirements to ensure the successful management of projects
• Act as the first-line quality control manager
• Identify project issues (ex. Schedule, quality, productivity) and work with TeamManagement and Project Managers to resolve issues
• Other related tasks may be assigned from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Sanitary Engineering or any engineering-related course
• Proficient in BIM-related software (e.g., Revit)
• Must have basic plan reading knowledge (Civil, Structure, Architecture, and MEPF)
• Must have basic knowledge of Navisworks
• Preferably (but not required) with Pointcloud background
• 2+ years relevant work experience as BIM Modeler
• Can start ASAP
