Job summary

Viatechnik Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Civil Engineer with Revit expertise to convert civil site and utility drawings into accurate 3D models.

You will perform clash coordination for civil, MEP underground, and site utilities; produce coordination drawings; and prepare RFIs to keep projects on track.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 2+ years of hands-on Revit experience; ASAP start is preferred; knowledge of civil standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on Revit (Civil/Site) experience.
• Proficient plan reading knowledge in Civil and Utilities (grading plans, utility layouts, site plans, drainage, water/sewer).
• Experience with civil site modeling including roads, grading, drainage, and underground utilities (water, sewer, storm, gas, electrical conduits).
• Skilled in creating civil models, sheets, and resolving site/utility clashes.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D or Infraworks is an advantage.
• Knowledge of international civil engineering standards and codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert civil site and utility drawings to Revit 3D models.
• Create models that are constructible in the field with focus on site grading, underground utilities, and civil infrastructure.
• Perform clash coordination for civil, MEP underground, and site utility systems.
• Produce coordination drawings for site and utility disciplines.
• Prepare RFIs related to civil site and utility issues for project managers.
• Review civil drawings, specifications, instructions, and other requirements to ensure successful project management.
• Act as the first-line quality control manager for civil and utility models.
• Identify project issues (e.g., schedule, quality, productivity) and work with Team Mgmt/PMs to resolve them.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, and other disciplines for proper interfaces at utility crossings and site connections.
• Other related tasks may be assigned from time to time

• Convert civil site and utility drawings to Revit 3D models
• Create models that are physically constructible in the field, with a focus on site grading, underground utilities, and civil infrastructure
• Perform clash coordination for civil, MEP underground, and site utility systems
• Produce coordination drawings for site and utility disciplines
• Prepare RFIs related to civil site and utility issues for project managers
• Review civil drawings, specifications, instructions, and other requirements to ensure the successful management of projects
• Act as the first-line quality control manager for civil and utility models
• Identify project issues (e.g., schedule, quality, productivity) related to civil scope and work with Team Management and Project Managers to resolve issues
