Job summary

Megacity General Construction and Development Corp. Philippines seeks a skilled BIM/CAD specialist to create and manage detailed 3D models and accompanying 2D drawings for architectural, structural, and MEP components.

You will coordinate with architects and engineers, perform clash detection, update models as designs evolve, and ensure documentation meets standards and client requirements. A Civil Engineering or Architecture degree with 3–5 years of BIM/CAD experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 3–5 years as Field Engineer, BIM, or CAD Operator.
• Knowledge of MS Office, estimating, communication, and 3D drawing (SketchUp, Revit).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, MEP components.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders for model integration.
• Produce 2D drawings, plans, sections from 3D BIM models.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts using BIM tools.
• Update BIM models based on design revisions and construction progress.
• Perform regular model quality checks for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
• Support project submissions and deliverables by maintaining current and coordinated BIM documentation.
• Ensure adherence to company BIM standards, industry best practices, and client requirements.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Create and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, MEP, and other building components.
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure model integration and consistency.
3. Produce 2D drawings, plans, sections, and documentation from 3D BIM models.
4. Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts using BIM coordination tools.
5. Update BIM models based on design revisions, project requirements, and construction progress.
6. Perform regular model quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
7. Support project submissions and deliverables by maintaining current and coordinated BIM documentation.
8. Ensure adherence to company BIM standards, industry best practices, and client requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

1. Must be Bachelor’s Science in Civil Engineering / Architecture
2. Must have 3-5 years Field Engineer or BIM or CAD Operator
3. Knowledge in MS Offices, Estimate, Communication Skills, 3D Drawing (Sketchup and Revit)

PREFERRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

1. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM software
2. Knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
3. Strong coordination, problem-solving, and attention to detail
4. Licensed Civil Engineer (Preferred)
