Job summary

VIATechnik in the Philippines seeks a BIM Modeler to develop and maintain accurate BIM models from project drawings and specifications. You will convert 2D designs into coordinated 3D BIM models and create constructible models that aid coordination, visualization, and field installation.

Responsibilities include clash detection, production of coordination/shop drawings, and QA of models while ensuring compliance with BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of BIM modeling experience.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.

• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, project requirements, and quality control procedures.
• Conduct model quality checks and serve as the first level of quality assurance for assigned projects.
• Identify and elevate project risks related to quality, schedule, coordination, or productivity.
• Collaborate with project managers, BIM coordinators, engineers, and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Stay current with BIM technologies, workflows, and industry best practices.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a BIM Modeler, BIM Technician, Revit Modeler, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit.
• Working knowledge of Navisworks or other model coordination and clash detection software.
• Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation across multiple disciplines.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, modeling workflows, and construction coordination processes.
• Experience with architectural, structural, civil, or MEPF modeling is an advantage.
• Exposure to point cloud modeling and scan-to-BIM workflows is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to start immediately or within short notice is preferred.
