Job summary

ESCA Incorporated in the Philippines is seeking a BIM Modeler (Piping Design) to create, detail, and manage accurate 3D piping models for industrial and commercial projects. You will convert schematics and P&IDs into clash-free BIM models, generate fabrication drawings and BOMs, and coordinate with multi-discipline teams to meet project standards.

Responsibilities

• Convert 2D designs and P&IDs into detailed 3D piping models using Revit and CADworks.
• Run clash detection analyses with Navisworks to resolve spatial conflicts.
• Generate isometrics, GA plans, section details, and spool drawings from 3D models.
• Extract Bills of Materials (BOM) and piping material schedules for procurement and estimation.
• Ensure piping models and drawings meet project specs and CAD/BIM standards.

Job Summary

The BIM Modeler (Piping Design) is responsible for creating, detailing, and managing accurate 3D piping models for industrial and commercial projects. This role converts technical schematics and P&IDs into clash-free Building Information Models, generating precise fabrication drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM) while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert 2D design layouts, P&IDs, and vendor drawings into detailed 3D piping models using Revit and CADworks.

• Run clash detection analyses using Navisworks to identify and resolve spatial conflicts with structural, electrical, and HVAC disciplines.

• Generate clear isometric drawings, general arrangement (GA) plans, section details, and spool drawings directly from 3D models.

• Extract accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and piping material schedules to support project procurement and estimation.

• Ensure all piping models and drawings adhere strictly to project specifications, client CAD/BIM standards, and relevant industry codes.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, Architecture, or a related technical field.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in 3D piping design and BIM modeling within the AEC, Oil & Gas, Data Center, or industrial process sector.

• Software Proficiency:

  • Autodesk Revit (Piping / MEP)

  • CADworks (3D Piping Design)

  • Autodesk Navisworks and AutoCAD

• Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, piping material specifications (PMS), and equipment layouts.

• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills for multi-trade coordination.
