Job summary

JOII PHILIPPINES, INC. is seeking a BIM Coordinator to collaborate with the BIM Manager to develop and implement company-wide BIM standards and best practices, and to provide technical support to the team on BIM software and policies.

You’ll maintain project data records, develop internal tools, and help optimize workflows across design, drafting and estimation teams, with fortnightly updates to relevant teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a BIM Coordinator or equivalent role.
• Background in architecture or building design; portfolio encouraged.
• Programming/coding skills (Python or C#) are highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure timely BIM delivery.
• Maintain BEP and Drafting Manuals and update workflows.
• Provide technical support and training on BIM tools (e.g., Revit).
• Develop accurate families aligned with company standards and manage content.
• Maintain delivery schedules and provide fortnightly BIM updates.

Job description

Objectives:

• Collaborating with the BIM Manager to develop and implement company-wide BIM standards,


• guidelines, and best practices.


• Provide technical support to team members on BIM software and policies.


• Maintaining accurate records of project data, including model versions, revisions, and changes


• Assist with research and development of internal tools (scripts and plugins) for improving project


• workflows across the design, drafting and estimation teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with design and production drafting teams and other stakeholders to


• ensure accurate and timely delivery of BIM models and content creation.


• Identifying general opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes


• as needed within the BIM department


• Maintaining BEP and Drafting Manuals


• Providing technical support and training to team members on BIM software tools (e.g.


• Autodesk Revit) and workflows


• Troubleshooting BIM-related issues across design and production drafting teams.


• Develop accurate families in line with Company construction guidelines and standards.


• Maintain a 7-21 hr delivery schedule for content creation relative to the delivery stage.


• Fortnightly updates to relevant teams on BIM implementation

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM software tools


• Understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) principles and some


• programming experience using either Python, C# or node type platforms like Dynamo

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role (BIM Coordinator or equivalent)


• Background in architecture or building design, however, interest and a portfolio of work


• without a degree also be considered.


• Programming/Coding experience highly advantageous i.e. Python, C#


• Good construction knowledge and understanding of putting a building together in CAD,


• specifically in Revit.


• Good understanding of family and content creation, especially in the volume building


• space in relation to LOD.


• Good knowledge of working with design options and model groups.


• Can work office based
