Job summary

JFE Civil Engineering & Construction Corporation is seeking a skilled BIM Modeler/BIM Engineer to perform basic to advanced drawing and modeling work using BIM software. You will report to the BIM Team Leader and contribute solutions within your tasks, with a focus on Revit-based architectural and structural drawings.

The role requires a 2+ years BIM experience, a 4-year technical degree in Civil/Architecture, and willingness to travel to Japan for project needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year technical degree course in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• At least 2 years of experience in the same BIM role.
• Must be able to create architectural and structural drawings using REVIT.
• Knowledge of other BIM concepts and software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create Architectural and Structural Revit models and drawings.
• Create and improve Revit families and templates.
• Develop detailed models for design and construction phases.
• Perform clash checks between architectural, structural and mechanical models.
• Acquire quantities from the design model.
• Collaborate with the BIM team to produce integrated models.
• Ensure models comply with Japanese Building Code and requirements.
• Learn Japanese language to communicate with counterparts.
