Job summary

HRTX is seeking a skilled BIM Detailer to create precise 3D BIM models for rebar and steel reinforcement on onsite concrete structures in Makati/Taguig. You will generate 2D shop drawings, bending schedules, and material summaries directly from BIM models, ensuring BEP alignment and constructability.

The role requires a Civil/Construction degree with at least 3 years of rebar detailing experience and strong Tekla Structures experience; AutoCAD and Revit skills with rebar plugins are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of specialized experience in rebar detailing, with a strong emphasis on 3D BIM modeling.
• Proficiency in rebar detailing using Tekla Structures (required); AutoCAD and Revit with rebar extensions are used.
• In-depth understanding of rebar standards, bending schedules, and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for rebar and steel reinforcement for various concrete elements (foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, etc.).
• Generate accurate 2D rebar shop drawings, bending schedules, bar lists, and material summaries directly from the BIM models.
• Ensure all rebar models and documentation comply with project structural requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and industry detailing standards.
• Identify and resolve rebar clashes with other rebar elements, embedded items, and structural components.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers, BIM Coordinators, and fabrication teams to ensure design intent and constructability.
• Perform self-quality checks on rebar models and drawings to identify and correct errors before internal review.
• Manage revisions and updates to rebar models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of rebar detailing processes and BIM workflows.

• Ability to interpret structural drawings, specifications, and engineer's notes for concrete and rebar.
