Job summary

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. is seeking a Billing Control Specialist in Tagum City, Philippines. The role focuses on ensuring prompt and accurate customer billing, resolving issues, and supporting batch processes that drive revenue operations.

You will collaborate with the North Davao Customer Services Department to deliver reliable billing outcomes, handle escalated inquiries, and contribute to process improvements in a purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• University/College graduate of BS Commerce, Engineering, or BSE major in Mathematics.
• At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably using automated Revenue Management Department systems.
• Proficient in Billing Data Control and Variance Analysis.
• Knowledge of Billing Management, Billing Guidelines and Procedures.
• Awareness of Regulatory and Compliance standards (Magna Carta, DSOAR, and related).
• Information/Records Administration handling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all customer accounts are billed accurately and promptly every cycle by validating usage trends and resolving abnormalities.
• Process daily batch bill-computations and retrieve/post collection data to the Accounts Receivable master files.
• Resolve billing complaints and queries referred by CSRs and the Call Center, preparing adjustments or conducting customer visits when necessary.
• Prepare back-billing computations and letters for under-billed accounts in compliance with ERC rules and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Prepare operational performance reports and ensure compliance with ISO IMS, AMS, and other management systems.

As Billing Control Specialist, you will ensure the prompt and accurate billing of all customers, resolve billing issues and complaints, and process database-related operational batch processes and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the North Davao Customer Services Department to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensure all customer accounts are billed accurately and promptly every cycle by validating usage trends and resolving abnormalities.
• Process daily batch bill-computations and retrieve/post collection data to the Accounts Receivable master files.

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:

• Demonstrates proficiency in Business Process and Tools (RMD), specifically CC&B, MDM, Discoverer, and Enterprise Architecture (Level 3).
• Has strong skills in Revenue Case Management, including CC&B routing of cases and complaints management (Level 3).
• Is proficient in Billing Data Control and Variance Analysis, specifically Root Cause Analysis (Level 3).
• Possesses expert knowledge in Billing Management, including Billing Guidelines and Procedures (Level 3).
• Maintains standards in Regulatory and Compliance, specifically Magna Carta, DSOAR, and other regulatory requirements (Level 3).
• Manages Information/Records Administration to ensure proper handling (Level 3).

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• University/College graduate of BS Commerce, Engineering, or BSE major in Mathematics.

• Basic Awareness on Safety and Health (Level 2).
