Job summary

ShipERP, a leading multi-carrier shipping software provider, is seeking a Billing Specialist in the Philippines to ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing. You will support month-end processes, assist with collections, and resolve billing discrepancies while collaborating with finance, project management, and other internal teams to maintain efficient billing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting/finance/business administration or related field.
• 5 years of billing, accounts receivable, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of billing procedures, reconciliations and financial documentation.
• Familiarity with complex billing structures (project-based, milestone, subscription).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Experience with automation tools or system integration for billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Perform month-end billing activities and ensure proper transaction recording.
• Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections.
• Investigate and resolve billing issues related to POs, SOWs, and contracts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain documentation for all billing transactions and adjustments.
• Assist in reconciliation of billing data between ERP systems and customer requirements.
• Support Billing Supervisor with reporting, audits, and process improvement.
• Provide prompt responses to customer billing inquiries.
• Assist with ad hoc billing projects and process enhancements.
