Job summary

PeopleStrong in Function Manufacturing Operations seeks a specialist to enable billet casting plants to achieve business objectives by strengthening safety, process discipline and building quality into our processes, systems and practices.

You will plan and execute safe molten metal handling, drive CAPA and RCA actions, and push digital solutions to assess casting quality across plant and casting houses, reducing defects and customer rejections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in engineering or related field.
• Experience with safety, quality systems and process improvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety targets: LTI, recordables, first aid.
• Plan and execute safe molten metal handling in billet casthouses.
• Drive CAPA/RCA actions to resolve billet cast house issues.
• Eliminate cast quality issues and customer rejections.
• Push digitalization projects to assess casting quality across plants.
