Qualifications

• JLPT N3 certificate is required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Japanese interpreter.
• College level or vocational graduate of any course.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Willing to render overtime and can multi-task.
• Good computer skills.
• Detailed oriented; able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interpret conversations between Japanese nationals and local employees during meetings and incidents.
• Translate emails, documents and prepare minutes of meetings.
• Design and manage a Japanese language curriculum for a selective cohort of learners.
• Conduct JLPT-based assessments and mini tests for N3 level employees.
• Collaborate with Head of HR to clarify Japanese intent and support implementation.
