Job summary

Naija Luxemart Ltd in Pasay is seeking fluent Japanese and English speakers for a full-time on-site interpreter role. You will facilitate real-time interpretation between Japanese and English during live conversations and support a major international client.

Paid training will be provided with no prior interpreting experience required. Candidates must have a reliable computer, fast internet, and be able to work full-time starting at 7:00 AM Pacific Time.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent proficiency in both Japanese and English.
• Paid training will be provided.
• Excellent verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Reliable laptop or desktop computer with a webcam and headset.
• Stable, high speed internet connection.
• Available to work full time, starting at 7:00 AM Pacific Time (California, USA)
• Professional, dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret spoken conversations accurately and professionally between Japanese and English in real time.
• Deliver clear, natural, and culturally appropriate interpretation while preserving the speaker’s intended meaning.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with professional interpretation standards.
• Facilitate effective communication between clients by ensuring accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
• Participate in all required training sessions and continuous learning activities.
• Meet quality, productivity, and attendance expectations while working in a remote environment.
• Report technical or operational issues promptly to the appropriate support team.
• Uphold professionalism and provide a positive experience during every interaction.
