Conti's Specialty Foods, Inc. is seeking a Coffee & Beverage Development Specialist to innovate and optimize beverage offerings, blending hands-on barista expertise with product development, sensory evaluation, costing, and standardization.

You will work closely with Operations, Marketing, Purchasing, QA, and other teams to develop beverages that are commercially viable, operationally executable, cost-efficient, and aligned with customer preferences and Conti's brand standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Food Technology, Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts or related field.
• 2–3 years in coffee, café operations, beverage development or related field.
• Hands-on barista experience (Barista/Senior Barista/Head Barista) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of espresso preparation and beverage formulation.
• Experience in both coffee and non-coffee beverages is an advantage.
• Familiarity with recipe costing and sensory evaluation.

Responsabilités

• Develop and formulate new coffee, espresso-based, tea, chocolate, fruit-based and other specialty beverages.
• Create seasonal, promotional and permanent beverage menu offerings.
• Conduct trials, recipe testing, product refinement and sensory evaluation.
• Improve existing formulations based on feedback, cost and ingredient availability.
• Prepare espresso-based beverages using proper brewing and extraction techniques.
• Establish beverage preparation standards and product specifications.
• Develop standardized beverage recipes, procedures and guides.
• Monitor trends and perform competitor checks.
• Train baristas and store teams on beverage preparation.
