Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Head of Production to lead high-volume AGM battery manufacturing operations in the Philippines. You will focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and workforce engagement to drive excellence.

You will supervise production staff, optimize processes, implement lean initiatives, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve operational challenges and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8-10+ years of manufacturing experience in high-volume production.
• Minimum 5 years leading large production teams.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, OEE, Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Preferred AGM Automotive Batteries/Industrial/UPS/Energy Storage Batteries experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production supervisors, engineers, technicians, and operators.
• Manage daily production operations to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets.
• Ensure adherence to specifications, process controls, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Drive productivity, OEE, yield improvement, downtime reduction, and cost optimization.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve challenges.
• Promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement culture.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and operational excellence initiatives.
