Job summary

Philippine Batteries Incorporated is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations within our automotive battery production facility. You will manage a production workforce including operators, technicians, and team leaders, ensuring targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and process controls are achieved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience in chemical handling or chemical processes preferred.
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering concepts; battery formation processes a plus.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and process management.
• Basic to working knowledge of MSA.
• Strong statistics and statistical process analysis.
• Experience supervising production personnel or leading manufacturing teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet targets and schedules.
• Lead operators, technicians, and team leaders with focus on safety, productivity, and teamwork.
• Monitor output, quality, productivity, scrap, process performance, and cycle time.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives across manufacturing processes.
