Overview

This is a STAY-IN POSITION located at UMINGAN, PANGASINAN.

S/he will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness at the boar stud, boar handling, semen collection, and record keeping (both hard and soft copies).

Responsibilities

1. Implementing biosecurity SOPs
2. Semen collection
3. Boar management (i.e., medication, feeding, vaccination)
4. Ensuring cleanliness
5. Sample collection
6. Data recording and inventory management
7. Boar training
8. Boar body condition scoring

Qualifications

• Proficiency in record keeping, data entry, and basic computer skills (MS Word and MS Excel)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity
• Willing to trained in board handling and semen collection
• Good physical stamina

Education & Training

• At least high school graduate
• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, Biology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience in swine reproduction labs).
• Training or coursework in animal reproduction / swine farms
