Job summary

TigerUX in Cebu City, Philippines, seeks an experienced Farm Manager to oversee swine operations on site. You will ensure biosecurity, conduct daily health rounds, promptly identify and treat sick animals, and supervise vaccination and SOP adherence across departments.

Requirements include a degree in Agriculture or Animal Science, 7–8 years in a swine farm with managerial duties, and willingness to reside on farm premises in Argao/Pinamungajan. Free accommodation and meals are provided.

Qualifications

• A graduate of Agriculture, Animal Science or related fields.
• With at least 7-8 years of experience in a swine farm handling managerial roles.
• Willing to stay-in the farm premises at Argao/ Pinamungajan
• High problem-solving skills.
• Above average written and conversational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that biosecurity protocols are complied with.
• Conducts proper monitoring of health condition by doing daily rounds.
• Initiates prompt identification and medication of sick animals.
• Diagnoses disease or any abnormal conditions through physical and behavioral observation as basis for proper treatment.
• Monitors the mortality and morbidity rate of all departments being supervised and collects data of established facts.
• Oversees vaccination based on protocol.
• Monitors the proper implementation of Standard Operating Procedure in Wean to Finish.
• Performs the planning of working schedule for subordinates to sustain manpower requirement.
• Consults and coordinates with the Farm Manager regarding matters that need to be addressed in the specific area of responsibility.
• Perform other functions as may be required on a temporary basis.
