The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a deep appreciation for high-quality coffee. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of espresso-based beverages, teas, and other refreshments, while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Coffee Preparation: Steam and texture milk to perfection.
• Grind and brew coffee using various methods (espresso machine, pour-over, French press, etc.).
• Prepare and serve teas, iced beverages, and other refreshments.
• Maintain proper coffee bean storage and grinding procedures.
• Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take and accurately process customer orders.
• Provide product recommendations and answer customer questions.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Operational Duties: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the espresso machine, grinder, and surrounding areas.
• Restock supplies and ensure adequate inventory levels.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned, such as light cleaning, stocking shelves, and assisting with customer service at the front counter.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Barista (preferred, but not required).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques.
