Overview

A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers, typically in a coffee shop or café setting. They create a positive customer experience by providing high-quality drinks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that customers' needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, such as espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and iced coffees. Brew coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company recipes and customer preferences. Ensure the quality and consistency of drinks by following standard preparation procedures.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Answer questions about the menu, ingredients, and drink options. Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Cash Handling and Point of Sale (POS): Operate the cash register, process payments, and give correct change. Maintain an accurate register and balance cash at the end of shifts. Process credit card and mobile payment transactions.
