Job summary

RCBC is seeking an experienced risk management professional to ensure implementation of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Framework across the Bank and its subsidiaries. The role supports the Head of the Business Operational Risk Department to adopt best ORM practices and tools to strengthen risk awareness and reduce losses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year course, preferably business-related or finance.
• At least 5 years exposure to Banking Operations, Operational Risk or Audit.
• Working knowledge of risk assessment techniques and their application in banking operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of ORM framework across the Bank including subsidiaries.
• Support the Head of Business Operational Risk Department (BORD) to introduce and implement best practices on ORM through appropriate ORM tools.
• Develop and Monitor tools for material operational risks such as RCSA, KRI and CST for monitoring and reporting to ROC/Senior Management.
• Review identified operational risks and controls across business lines and processes of the Bank.
• Conduct root cause analysis for high risk areas and recommend control procedures and/or corrective actions.
• Prepare meaningful risk management reports to summarize results and status on the implementation of ORM tools by various units.
• Advise on loss reporting and monitoring operational risk exposures.
