Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Philippines is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business and technology teams within a global banking environment. You will drive requirements gathering, document functional specs, and support data-driven initiatives across banking products, finance processes, and regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate has banking/fintech experience, strong SQL skills, and proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and testers in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Proven experience as Business Analyst or similar role in banking/fintech.
• Hands-on SQL proficiency with data validation.
• Experience with requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and solution designs.
• Conduct process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support Agile delivery by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution validation activities.
• Analyze business and financial data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Perform impact assessments and support change management initiatives.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications, process flows, and business documentation.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to align on requirements and priorities.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business expectations.
