Job summary

OwnBank in Metro Manila is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper responsible for recording daily financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts in accordance with the bank's policies and regulatory standards.

You will support month-end close, assist the Senior Accountant with reports to regulators, and handle cash operations, AMLC portal submissions, and end-of-day processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience recording daily financial transactions.
• Ability to balance and reconcile ledgers.
• Familiarity with GL systems and reporting.
• Exposure to regulatory submissions and AML processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain ledgers.
• Balance daily end-of-day system trial balance.
• Assist month-end entries for GL posting.
• Prepare reports for regulatory bodies.
• Check and submit AMLC portal reports.
• Support cashiering, deposits and loans transactions.
• Handle interim cash counts and cash vault access.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by Finance Manager.
