Job summary

As the face of the store, you will handle payments, process returns or exchanges, and help keep the checkout area clean and organized. This is a frontline customer service role at our Philippines location.

Qualifications

• Processing transactions accurately using POS equipment.
• Handling payments including cash, cards, and digital methods.
• Reconciling cash drawers and preparing daily deposits.
• Greeting customers and assisting with inquiries and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Payment Processing: Accurately scan goods, weigh produce, and process cash, credit, debit, and digital transactions using POS equipment.
• Cash Management: Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts, calculate total payments received, and prepare daily bank deposits.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, answer inquiries, provide product information, and guide buyers through promotions or store policies.
• Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints, process returns, issue refunds or exchanges, and apply discounts or coupons.
• Merchandise Handling: Bag or wrap items securely and assist with maintaining a clean, organized checkout area.
