About the role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in baking and food preparation, with strong attention to quality, consistency, cleanliness, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked products according to company standards and recipes
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistent product quality
• Operate and monitor baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and other bakery tools
• Ensure proper preparation, proofing, baking, cooling, and storage of products
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area, equipment, and workstations
• Check the quality, freshness, appearance, and consistency of ingredients and finished products
• Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
• Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and report shortages or damaged supplies
• Assist in developing or improving recipes and products when needed
• Minimize food waste and properly handle unused ingredients

About you

• At least 1 year of experience as a Baker, Pastry Cook, or similar role
• Knowledge of basic baking techniques, measurements, and food preparation
• Experience in handling ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Able to work well under pressure and meet production deadlines
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
