Job summary

Emapta Philippines is hiring a Backend Integration Developer to build production-grade PHP integrations and high-performance backend systems. This onsite role in Mandaluyong emphasizes REST APIs, SQL optimization, event-driven architecture, and Azure messaging, with a focus on reliability and scalable data exchange.

You will work on complex integrations, troubleshoot interconnected services, and collaborate with global teams for continuous development and stability.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of backend development experience.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs, backend services, and system integrations.
• Strong experience with event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and integration workflows.
• Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Azure messaging services, preferably Azure Service Bus.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of data exchange, error handling, retries, logging, and monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot interconnected systems and perform root cause analysis.
• Emphasis on backend performance, scalability, availability, and maintainability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and with teams.
• Available to work onsite in Mandaluyong.
