Job summary

Pacifica Blue Holdings Corp. is building its founding software team in Makati CBD. You will develop backend systems for membership management and back-office platforms, collaborating with the Taiwan team in a fixed day shift and AI-first development environment.

You will work with Node.js, Express, Next.js API routes, and TypeScript, managing MySQL or MS SQL databases and Redis. AI-assisted tools and mentorship are provided to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficient with Node.js (Express / Next.js API routes) and TypeScript.
• Experience with MySQL or MS SQL; Redis is a plus.
• Cloud exposure (AWS or GCP) and Git.
• Ability to debug across API, database and logs.
• Proficient with AI-assisted development tools.
• GitHub profile or code samples required with application.
• Nice to have: admin/back-office tools; webhooks or message queues.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend systems for membership management and back-office platforms.
• Collaborate with Taiwan engineering team on software development.
• Debug independently across API, database, and logs.
• Work with Node.js, Express, Next.js API routes, and TypeScript.
• Manage MySQL or MS SQL databases and Redis systems.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day work.
