Job summary

ConnectOS in Manila is seeking a backend software engineer to design and operate cloud-native platforms on Azure, delivering scalable services and CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid work setting at the Mega Tower, EDSA.

You will work with C#/.NET or Python, implement clean architecture, integrate AI/ML via Azure OpenAI, manage data with Delta tables and Databricks, and ensure performance and security through observability tools and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable back-end services with clean architecture.
• Cloud-native platforms on Azure with CI/CD.
• AI/ML integration using Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Foundry.
• Data integration with Delta tables, Databricks, Kafka or Event Hubs.

Responsibilities

• Build back-end services with microservices and REST APIs.
• Design service layers between assistant and data/back-end systems.
• Ensure performance, scalability and resilience with observability tooling.
• Work in agile, product-centric teams with code reviews.
