Job summary

Mr. DIY Philippines is seeking a friendly cashier to join our store team. You will handle payments, operate the POS, and ensure accurate pricing and receipts for every customer.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in retail, strong customer service, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision. You will keep the checkout area clean and maintain accurate cash drawer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4-year course completed.
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• 1 year or more experience in a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math to collect payments and give correct change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and card terminals.
• Balance cash register and generate reports for sales.
• Accept payments, ensure prices/quantities are accurate and issue receipts.
• Handle exchanges and refunds quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer.
• Keep checkout area clean and orderly.
