Job summary

Exoticca in Barcelona is seeking a B2B Travel Agent to be the first point of contact for travel advisors, handling product inquiries, offering tailored solutions, and helping convert quotes into confirmed bookings.

You will maintain up-to-date product knowledge, use Amadeus/CRM, upsell where appropriate, and collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth handovers. Fluency in English and Spanish is required; previous sales or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset and proactive attitude.
• Previous experience in sales, travel industry, customer service, or related field is required.
• Knowledge of GDS systems (preferably Amadeus) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support travel advisors with inquiries about products, prices, availability, and booking policies.
• Recommend tailored travel solutions and upsell opportunities.
• Provide clear, accurate, and timely information during calls and written interactions.
• Manage real-time booking issues and coordinate with internal teams if needed.
• Stay up to date with travel products, seasonal offers, and company guidelines.
• Use sales techniques (upselling, cross-selling) to maximize revenue where appropriate.
• Ensure proper documentation and use of internal systems (e.g., Amadeus, CRM).
• Collaborate with other internal squads for smooth handovers.
