Job summary

Birlasoft in Bengaluru, India seeks a seasoned Solution Architect to lead enterprise architecture initiatives and design scalable solutions. The role requires deep expertise in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, and modern frameworks, plus strong microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, API management, and Azure cloud experience.

You will drive DevSecOps practices, CAST/vFunction modernization, and complex database migrations (Oracle ExaCC to PostgreSQL).

Qualifications

20+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise-level solution design.
Proven expertise in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, and modern Java frameworks.
Strong experience in microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API management.
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and database services.
Deep understanding of DevSecOps practices and tools integration (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Sonar).
Experience with CAST and vFunction for application analysis and modernization.
Strong background in database migration, especially from Oracle ExaCC to PostgreSQL or other cloud-native databases.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and solution design for enterprise applications.
Guide technical teams and stakeholders through modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with business units to translate requirements into scalable architectures.
