Job summary

Axos Bank in Manila is seeking an experienced accounting leader to head a team responsible for core accounting operations and the close process. You will ensure journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules are accurate while upholding internal controls.

You will guide staff, monitor performance, and drive timely remediation of findings to maintain GAAP compliance and regulatory alignment across all reporting cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience leading accounting teams and close processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to ensure regulatory compliance and timely remediation.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage, coach, and develop accounting staff.
• Own execution of key internal controls and enforce consistent application.
• Demonstrate effective team leadership by managing individual and team performance, coaching employees, and fostering engagement to ensure consistent execution and delivery.
