Job summary

Metrojet Limited in the Philippines is seeking a qualified aircraft maintenance engineer to perform and oversee maintenance on a growing fleet of business jets. The role focuses on timely maintenance, compliance with directives, and safe, efficient operations. Candidates must hold CAAP/FAA/EASA B1 or B2 licenses and have 5–10 years of type rating experience on King Air, Bombardier, Gulfstream, Embraer, Learjet or Dassault Falcon series. Proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Good command of English in speaking and writing.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance planning and execution is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure all scheduled maintenance is carried out on time per program, standards, directives and requirements.
• Plan and secure tools and equipment required for every project and ensure they are serviceable.
• Perform and oversee daily maintenance and engineering activities with minimal downtime and report daily maintenance activities to the Maintenance Manager.
• Ensure manhours are reviewed daily and clocked.
• Coordinate unscheduled maintenance actions and provide recommendations for safe downtime handling.
• Perform pre-flight inspections in accordance with procedures and safety requirements.
• Provide support to crew regarding maintenance issues to guarantee safety and reliability of aircraft.
• Release Work Orders in accordance with regulations and procedures to maintain safety and record-keeping.

Job Purpose

Perform and oversee maintenance and engineering activities on aircraft and/or components, within the company's regulatory approved capability.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure all scheduled maintenance is reviewed and carried out on time accordingly, with the project program, standards predefined and mandatory maintenance directives and requirements.
• Review, plan and ensure all tools and equipment required for every project are available and serviceable.
• Perform and oversee daily maintenance and engineering activities to ensure that all maintenance actions are performed as per the standards and requirements approved by the Company and in an efficient and timely manner with minimum downtime; report the daily maintenance activities to the Maintenance Manager daily as applicable and relevant Operations personnel as per the company requirements.
• Ensure all manhours are reviewed daily and clocked accordingly.
• Coordinate all unscheduled maintenance actions, provide recommendations to the maintenance personnel, to utilize allocated downtime in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure that pre-flight inspections are carried out in accordance with company procedures and quality requirements to guarantee a high level of safety in all flights.
• Ensure that crew members are provided with all the required support concerning maintenance related issues, to guarantee the safety and reliability of the aircraft.
• Ensure Work Orders are released to service in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures to maintain aircraft safety, effective record keeping and minimum downtime.
• Ensure all aircraft technical publication and references used in carrying out the tasks are approved and updated.
• Ensure correct/proper tools and equipment (calibrated/serviceable) are used in aircraft maintenance activities.
• Comply with company and authority's safety, quality and regulatory standards at all times and report deficiencies, if any.
• Ensure all PPEs are used by maintenance personnel, as applicable.
• Always keep aircraft and facility clean and tidy to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance

Job Specifications

License Required

• Holder of a valid CAAP, FAA or EASA B1 or B2, base maintenance level environment is required.

Experience

• 5 to 10 years' experience with Type Rating in King Air/ Bombardier/ Gulfstream/ Embraer/ Learjet/ Dassault Falcon aircraft products
• Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment and accepted industry standards
