Job summary

Planate Management Group South East Asia Corp (PMG SEAC) is seeking a seasoned Cost Engineer to lead cost planning, estimation, budgets, and cost control for aerodrome projects in the region. You will coordinate with project teams, review BOQs, and monitor expenditures to keep projects within approved budgets and schedules.

Ideal candidates are licensed Civil Engineers with PRC, 5+ years’ experience, strong knowledge of FIDIC, EVM, contract administration, and proficient in MS Office and cost

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer with PRC license.
• At least five years of experience as a Cost Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, quantity surveying, cost control, and contract administration.
• Proficient in BOQ preparation, cost estimates, variation orders, and project financial reports.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement, and standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost estimating software.
• Experience in airport/ aerodrome/ transportation or large infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of FIDIC and government contracts.
• Experience in earned value management (EVM), project controls, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost estimates, BOQ, budgets, and forecasts for aerodrome projects.
• Monitor project costs, expenditures, progress billings, and variation orders for cost control.
• Review contractor claims, change orders, and payment applications for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze project cost performance and provide recommendations to mitigate overruns.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders on cost matters and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports, cash flow projections, and financial documentation for project management.
• Perform other related duties as required.
