Job summary

Sunlight Express Airways Corporation is seeking a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Technician in Cebu. The role focuses on inspecting, maintaining, and repairing ground service machinery such as baggage tugs, pushback tractors, fuel trucks, and GPUs to ensure safety and reliability on the ramp.

Requirements include a Diploma or TESDA certification in Automotive/Mechanical and 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Graduate of Automotive Technology or related vocational/technical course; TESDA or related certification is a plus.
2–3 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of heavy equipment or aviation ground support equipment.
Strong knowledge of diesel/gasoline engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

Provides maintenance and repairs of ground support equipment following set policies and procedures.
Executes all assigned maintenance and repair works efficiently to maximize utilization of ground support equipment.
Maintains GSE maintenance records and submits to supervisor.
Keeps workshop area clean and orderly; maintains permits and serviceability of company equipment and rotable spares.
Responds to GSE maintenance service calls and supports senior staff as needed.
