Job summary

Sunlight Express Airways Corporation is seeking a Ground Support Equipment operator in Cebu. You will handle and operate GSE to support efficient turnarounds, perform pre-use checks, and ensure safe loading/unloading of cargo and baggage. A valid driver’s license and physical fitness are required.

You may also drive the company bus for passenger shuttle between terminal and aircraft, and assist with forklift or man-lift operations when warranted. On-site position based in Cebu, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Must be a HS/SHS graduate.
• Physically fit and able to work in an airport environment.
• Valid LTO Professional Driver's license (A-B2).
• Preferably 1 year of driving experience.
• Ability to drive forklift and man-lift equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Ground Service Equipment (GSE) to ensure safe and secure airline operations.
• Perform daily operational checks and report defects to GSE maintenance.
• Load and unload aircraft cargo and baggage safely.
• Conduct potable water and lavatory servicing, and aircraft marshalling.
• Provide gate pushback and towing services using appropriate tractors.
• Submit repair/work order forms detailing unit defects or causes of failure.
• Shuttle passengers between airport terminal and aircraft using company bus.

Responsible for handling and efficiently operating Ground Equipment of the airline requirements to ensure safe and secure operations.

Conducts daily operational checks before use of equipment, reports identified defects to GSE maintenance

Executes loading and offloading of aircraft cargo and baggage safely

Performs potable water servicing, lavatory servicing, and aircraft marshalling

Performs all aircraft gate pushback and towing services, driving and operating diverse pushback tractor

Accomplishes repair work order form stating unit defects or cause of failure

Drives the company bus to shuttle passengers between airport terminal and aircraft. May be required to drive other company vehicles to service urgent, scheduled or unscheduled company errands for the company and other non-operational concerns from the main office to the hangar

Operates ground support vehicles and equipment for the efficient and quick turnaround service of ground operation

Ensures adherence to airport authority regulations, such as ramp speed limit, allowed staging /parking areas & stop bars and adequate time for braking in an emergency

Coordinates with Safety Department on ramp handling and GEO orientation

At least HS/SHS graduate

Physically fit

With valid LTO Professional Driver's license (A-B2)

Can drive / operate forklift and man-lift equipment, an advantage
