Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Air Transportation Supervisor to manage fleet service operations on Diego Garcia. The role involves supervising personnel, coordinating aircraft servicing tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in fleet service or air transportation, with supervisory experience and relevant certifications. The position requires travel readiness and strong coordination with stakeholders to maintain schedules and safety.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in fleet service, air transportation, or ground support operations, including supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, transportation management, or related fields is preferred.
• Certification or training in air transportation or logistics management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fleet service operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in compliance with AFI 24-605 and related procedures.
• Lead and supervise a team of Air Transportation personnel, overseeing galley/lavatory servicing, equipment handling, and aircraft interior sanitation.
• Coordinate schedules and monitor work activities to ensure on-time departures and arrivals, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Oversee equipment inspections and usage, ensuring readiness and compliance with safety requirements.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure efficient, safe aircraft servicing operations.
• Prepare reports and maintain records of fleet service activities, including equipment usage and maintenance logs.
