Job summary

Planate Management Group South East Asia Corp (PMG SEAC) is seeking an Environmental Specialist responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and sustainability requirements across aerodrome projects.

You will oversee environmental management, monitoring, impact assessment, mitigation measures, and coordination with regulatory agencies to ensure project activities meet laws and commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holder.
• DENR-EMB accreditation as an EIA Preparer/Practitioner.
• At least five years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine environmental laws, regulations, and permitting.
• Experience in environmental compliance monitoring and impact assessment.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing environmental reports and regulatory submissions.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Experience in airport, aerodrome, transportation, or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in EIA/EPRMP and related environmental studies.
• Training or certification in environmental management systems, sustainability, climate resilience, or auditing.
• Experience working with DENR-EMB and international contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and monitoring of environmental management plans, mitigation measures, and regulatory compliance requirements for aerodrome projects.
• Ensure project activities comply with environmental laws, permits, ECC conditions, and applicable government regulations.
• Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and monitoring activities to identify and address environmental risks and non-compliance issues.
• Review environmental reports, monitoring data, and contractor submissions related to environmental performance and compliance.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders on environmental matters and permit requirements.
• Prepare and review environmental monitoring reports, compliance documents, and recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
