Job summary

Accenture is hiring a Business Architecture Analyst to develop and maintain Avaloq scripts for core banking functionality. The role requires 1–2 years of programming experience, strong PL/SQL skills, and a solid understanding of SDLC.

You will work with analysts and senior developers to translate requirements into technical solutions, while contributing to documentation and keeping up with Avaloq best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in programming or software development
• Experience in Oracle databases and PL/SQL; familiarity with other relational database systems is a plus
• Solid understanding of software development principles, best practices, and SDLC
• Genuine interest in financial services, banking systems, or fintech, with a willingness to learn and grow in the domain
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Avaloq scripts (PL/SQL-based) for core banking functionalities
• Support parameterization to meet client-specific business requirements
• Collaborate with business analysts and senior developers to translate functional specifications into technical solutions
• Assist in technical analysis, design, implementation, and testing
• Analyze and resolve incidents, bugs, and change requests
• Contribute technical documentation and maintain clean, well-documented code
• Stay up to date with Avaloq development best practices
