About the role

Winterpine Marketing Corporation is looking for a reliable Automotive Technician / Mechanical Support Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential mechanical support, primarily focusing on basic automotive maintenance and repairs such as oil changes, tire rotations, and minor repairs. You'll work in close collaboration with our team at our partner shop, ensuring smooth operations and timely vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate should be dependable, have practical knowledge of vehicle upkeep, and be comfortable handling day-to-day tasks. A valid drivers license and the ability to drive are required.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and battery replacements.

2. Assist in diagnosing and resolving basic mechanical issues with vehicles.

3. Ensure all work is done in a safe and efficient manner, following shop procedures.

4. Conduct regular checks and minor repairs to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.

5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles.

6. Support senior technicians with more complex repairs as needed.

7. Keep the work area organized, tidy, and in compliance with safety standards.

8. Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after maintenance or repairs.

9. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle status.

10. Drive vehicles as needed to transport or move them within the shop or to other locations.

What we're looking for

1. Basic mechanical knowledge such as performing oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.

2. 2 years of experience in an automotive or mechanical support role (preferred but not required).

3. Drivers license and the ability to drive vehicles (required).

4. Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6. Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers.

7. Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

8. Basic tools knowledge (e.g., wrenches, jacks, diagnostic tools) and ability to use them properly.
