Job summary

NuPon Technology Phils. Corp. is seeking an automotive technician to perform vehicle maintenance and servicing, including oil changes, fluid checks, and preventive maintenance.

You will conduct engine tune-ups, diagnose faults with scanners, and repair components across engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems. Experience with hybrid/electric systems is a plus. The role requires physical fitness, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to handle urgent repairs.

Qualifications

• Technical/vocational diploma in automotive technology or related field is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience as a mechanic preferred.
• Holder of a valid driver's license (with both manual and automatic transmission knowledge).
• Familiar with diagnostic tools, scanners and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular vehicle servicing, oil changes, fluid checks and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct engine tune-ups for optimal performance.
• Diagnose faults using tools or manual inspection and perform repairs.
• Repair/replace engine parts, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, fuel, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Service hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
• Specialized services including wheel alignments, tire services and emissions testing.
• Document repairs and maintenance; explain issues to clients and provide estimates and timelines.

• PREFERABLY TECHNICAL/VOCATIONAL DIPLOMA IN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY OR RELATED FIELD.

• PREFERABLY 1-2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS MECHANIC.

• WITH DRIVERS LICENSE

• KNOW HOW TO DRIVE BOTH MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION.

• KNOW HOW TO USE SCANNER

• ABILITY TO USE DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS AND REPAIR EQUIPMENT

• WILLINGNESS TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS AND RESPOND TO URGENT REPAIRS.

• PHYSICALLY FIT AND ABLE TO PERFORM MANUAL TASKS.

• PREFERABLY STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF ENGINE SYSTEMS AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS.

JOB DECRIPTION:

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE & SERVICING - PERFORM REGULAR SERVICING, OIL CHANGES, FLUID CHECKS AND PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE.

CONDUCT ENGINE TUNE-UPS FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE.

DIAGNOSTIC & REPAIR - IDENTIFY MECHANICAL FAULTS USING DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS OR MANUAL INSPECTION.

REPAIR/ REPLACE ENGINE PARTS, TRANSMISSIONS, BRAKES, SUSPENSION, STEERING, EXHAUST, FUEL, HYDRAULIC AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS.

SERVICE HYBRID AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE SYSTEMS.

SPECIALIZED SERVICES - WHEEL ALIGNMENTS AND TIRE SERVICES, EMISSIONS TESTING AND ADJUSTMENTS TO MEET STANDARDS.

DOCUMENTATION & COMMUNICATION - RECORD ALL REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE IN REPORTS. EXPLAIN ISSUES AND REPAIRS TO CLIENTS IN SIMPLE TERMS. PROVIDE ESTIMATES , TIMELINES AND SEEK CUSTOMER APPROVAL.
