Job summary

Kaiyi Automotive is seeking an Automotive Technician specializing in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (HEV/EV) to join our service team in Metro Manila. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair HEV/EV systems, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety standards and high-voltage procedures are followed.

The role requires a technical diploma, experience with automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, and a willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Automotive Technology, Automotive Servicing, Electrical Technology, or a related technical course.
• Preferably with experience in automotive repair, particularly hybrid and electric vehicles.
• Knowledgeable in automotive electrical systems, vehicle diagnostics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Familiar with hybrid and EV components, including high-voltage batteries, electric motors, and charging systems.
• Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• TESDA Automotive Servicing NC II or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Willing to undergo specialized HEV/EV training and certification.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willing to travel to different sites that depends on the customers' locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in hybrid and electric vehicles.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair high-voltage batteries, electric motors, charging systems, and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and component replacement according to manufacturer standards.
• Use diagnostic scanners, electrical testing tools, and specialized equipment to identify vehicle issues.
• Follow high-voltage safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Prepare accurate service reports and document repairs and maintenance activities.
