AMTRAK MACHINERIES & EQUIPMENT OPC in Bulacan is seeking an Automotive Painter responsible for preparation, painting, repainting, and finishing of trucks, heavy equipment, and automotive units. You will prepare surfaces, apply primer, mix paints, operate spray guns, and ensure color match and finish quality while following Job Orders and safety procedures.

Job Summary:
Responsible for the preparation, painting, repainting, and finishing of trucks, heavy equipment, and automotive units.
Ensures that all painting and finishing works are completed according to company quality standards and approved Job Orders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform painting and repainting of trucks, heavy equipment, and automotive units.
Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and removing old paint, rust, and imperfections.
Perform body preparation, including application of body filler, primer, and other surface treatments.
Mix and prepare paints, primers, thinners, and other materials according to required specifications.
Apply paint using spray guns and other appropriate painting tools and equipment.
Ensure proper paint color, coverage, texture, and finishing quality.
Conduct touch-up, repainting, and finishing works as needed.
Follow approved Job Orders and ensure all required painting works are properly completed.
Inspect painted units for defects such as uneven coating, runs, bubbles, scratches, and color inconsistencies.
Coordinate with mechanics, body repair personnel, and other production staff during unit conditioning.
Properly maintain and clean spray guns, tools, equipment, and painting areas after use.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of paint, chemicals, and other materials.
Follow company safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the painting area.
Report additional repair or painting requirements to the immediate supervisor.
Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High School Graduate; vocational or technical training in Automotive Painting, Automotive Technology, or related field is an advantage.
With experience as an Automotive Painter, Auto Painter, Spray Painter, or similar position.
Preferably with experience in painting trucks, heavy equipment, buses, or other large automotive units.
Knowledgeable in surface preparation, paint mixing, color matching, priming, and spray painting.
Skilled in using spray guns, sanding tools, and other automotive painting equipment.
With good attention to detail and quality of work.
Physically fit and capable of performing hands‑on painting and conditioning work.
Willing to work on‑site and follow production schedules and approved Job Orders.
Hardworking, reliable, and safety‑conscious.
