Job summary

7th Liberty Workforce Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Automotive Painter/Refinish Technician in a busy body shop in Quezon City. The role focuses on delivering high-quality vehicle finishes through precise surface preparation, color matching, and expert spray application.

The successful candidate will perform color mixing, apply base and clear coats, and conduct final QC checks to ensure texture and color uniformity. PPE and safe handling of chemicals are essential in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of proven experience as an automotive painter or refinish technician in a body shop setting.
• Proficiency in operating spray guns, sanding tools, buffing equipment, and color-mixing systems.
• Deep understanding of auto paint types (polyurethane, enamel, waterborne), primers, clear coats, and surface prep methods.
• Excellent eye for color precision, texture uniformity, and surface finish consistency.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and wear respirators/protective gear.
• High school diploma or vocational training in automotive body repair and painting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, mask, and prime vehicle surfaces prior to painting.
• Color Matching & Mixing: Blend and mix paints using computerized color-matching systems to ensure precise OEM color matches.
• Paint Application: Apply base coats, clear coats, and specialty finishes using professional spray guns and techniques.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished work for runs, sags, dust nibs, or uneven texture, performing buffing, polishing, and detailing as needed.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray equipment, spray booths, and tools in optimal working condition.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines regarding PPE, paint booth ventilation, and hazardous chemical disposal.
